Contours and Coincidence is a set of prints based on selected frames from the generative animation of the same title. The work is both an homage to the visionary history of experimental film and a celebration of the abundant kinetic rhythms found in the natural world. Contrasting bold graphic gestures with lilting lines and chaotic filigree, this series includes wild tangents and subtle variations on the individual film frames.
