A post-photographic series utilizing generative AI to merge simulated elements including, lens-based photo-real imagery with hand-drawn and painted gestures layered in sculptural arrangements to complete a seamless whole. Tidal Arrays revisits an ongoing childhood fascination with the miniature ecosystems that dot intertidal zones. The watery domain of soft bodied Cnidarias, such as anemones layered with fragments of kelp and sea weeds, fractured shells and residual spills of industrial effluents combine in these dynamic visual compositions to evoke the whirling fluid motion of tide pools.
