Time Dilation I
2025

Time Dilation I is a vertical cinema/music work in the form of a fictional document of a museum exhibition featuring kinetic light sculptures. This particular sculpture emits volumetric light forms in the shape of low frequency sound wave patterns. To perform this feat of transcoding sound into light would require a speculative process to slow the speed of light into a parallel dimensional state. Science defines Time Dilation as the phenomenon where time passes at different rates for observers depending on their relative velocity or their position in a gravitational field. Here we note that the viewers in this film change position, disappear and reappear in relation to the passage of time.
